Honor Unit Award

The Apollo District Honor Unit Award was created in 2003 (originally the Golden Arrow District) to recognize packs, troops, crews, and ships that conduct their Scouting programs in a manner that supports the district's efforts to earn the Journey to Excellence for districts through meeting the council-assigned goals in the areas of membership, finance, and program. The Honor Unit Award was adopted by the Aquila District in 2013 and then the Apollo District in 2021. Applications are completed by the unit leader and can be submitted online; paper applications can be submitted at roundtable. Units qualifying as an Apollo Honor Unit are recognized at the district dinner.
